The company’s newest location hopes to move into the former home of A-1 Car Wash, which is set to be demolished for the restaurant, according to Phoenix Business Journal. The Mesa Design Review Board heard about the proposed restaurant earlier this week. The restaurant plans to use an order station, dual drive-thru lanes, and a limited menu to keep the line and drive-thru moving quickly, according to documents filed with the city. There’s no exact timeline for this opening, considering the location is still being considered.
If this location comes to fruition, customers can expect a unique concept that is fast, delicious, and affordable. Like the other Angie’s concepts, including Angie’s Lobster and Angie’s Burger, Angie’s Prime Grill offers high-quality ingredients like steak, chicken, shrimp, and lobster at an affordable price. The proposed 1,840-square-foot restaurant would be constructed on a 35,000-square-foot plot of land and would consist of a kitchen, storage, restrooms, and 411 square feet of indoor dining.
“The mission of making luxury foods affordable continues with Angie’s second concept,” according to the company’s website. “We feature USDA Prime Steak, Antibiotic and Hormone Free Chicken, and Wild-Caught Mexican Colossal Shrimp, all straight off the grill and into any one of our Warm Bowls, Grilled Burritos, or Fresh-cut Salads. We’re using premium and organic ingredients and creating sauces packed with bold flavors. We are thrilled to make gourmet meals, using ingredients normally only found at high-end restaurants, for the same (or lower) price and convenience of a drive-thru fast food meal!”
