The location will be locally owned and operated by franchisees Steve Christensen and Reid Richards.
According to the web listing for the upcoming location, the pair have owned 15 Five Guys stores, with Reid also owning Dunkin Donuts stores and serving as a Director of Operations for Taco Bell.
In addition, it says deciding on Gilbert was an easy decision after seeing the need for great breakfast restaurants to go with the rapidly growing Southeast Valley.
As for the restaurants themselves, each location is “designed to feel like a casual getaway, served up with a generous side of family, friends and friendly services.”
The traditional menu covers staples like buttermilk pancakes, but also offers specialties like the lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes and gluten-friendly pancakes for those with a sensitivity.
Diners looking for something a little healthier can turn toward dishes like the Monterey Power Omelet comprised of egg whites, chicken, onions, green chilis, tomatoes and avocado with Jack Cheese, an English muffin, and fresh seasonal fruit.
What Now Phoenix reached out to Christensen, who confirmed they are currently shooting for a November 2021 opening.
