Okay Maguey, a scratch kitchen gourmet taco bar, invites the public to its grand opening on Sept. 19, 2024, for an official ribbon cutting ceremony at 6 p.m. Located at 12005 N Tatum Blvd. #109, Phoenix, AZ 85028, Scottsdale’s newest culinary treasure, offers a dining experience deeply rooted in the history of the Peredo family, bringing the authentic flavors of Mexico City and southern Mexico to the Valley.

Okay Maguey’s menu honors a long line of family traditions, with recipes passed down through generations. Each dish is a vibrant tribute to the rich culinary heritage of Mexico City, where the family behind Okay Maguey originates and maintains strong ties. Guests can indulge in authentic, first-class Mexican cuisine, expertly crafted from scratch using the highest-quality ingredients.

Chef Jose Rodriguez, a culinary expert with deep roots in Mexico City, leads the kitchen with a passion for Mexican cuisine that shines through in every dish. He adds his own signature flair to the family’s cherished recipes and the vibrant flavors of south-central Mexico. Signature offerings such as Tacos Gobernador, Esquite Street Corn and the distinctive Tijuana-Style Caesar Salad highlight the rich cultural heritage and culinary excellence that define Okay Maguey.

Complementing the exceptional cuisine behind the bar is Fernando Bernal. Bringing over 30 years of experience in the spirits industry to Okay Maguey’s cocktail menu. Fernando’s creations, including the Lavender Guava Margarita and his own La Paloma blend, are crafted with fresh ingredients, ensuring every drink is as vibrant and memorable.
