A new wine and beer hangout is coming to Mesa late this year. Keep an eye out for Cork Crush, which will be at 9241 E. Cadence Parkway in Arrival at Cadence, the commercial center to be constructed for Mesa’s incoming master planned community on the southeast corner of Ray and Ellsworth Roads.

Cork Crush will showcase unique wines from lesser known regions throughout the U.S. and the world. “I want to combine the best of my travels into a wine bar and share my experiences with locals in my community,” owner Jessica Etts tells What Now Phoenix.

From six wines on tap to numerous bottles, there will be domestic varieties from places like Oregon, Washington, Texas and Michigan, as well as international offerings from countries such as Croatia, South Africa, and Germany. Guests can order by the bottle, by the glass, or sample multiple pours with tasting flights.

Cork Crush will also have a selection of craft beers and of course, they will also carry local brews and pours that are native to the Valley. There will be light fare to nosh on, such as charcuterie, paninis and flatbreads. Etts has plans to serve more inventive cheese boards, such as a beer board and a brunch board.

The 1,600 square-foot indoor lounge and 600 square-foot outdoor patio will be entirely dog-friendly. Etts even has a “doggie menu” in the works for your four-legged family members. Expect a fun and relaxing contemporary space with clever neon pink signs, as well as a “saber station” at which customers can experience using an actual saber to open a bottle of champagne.

Cork Crush is scheduled to open in fall of this year. For now, Arrival at Cadence is still under construction. For more information, visit www.corkcrushaz.com and follow @corkcrushaz on Instagram for updates.
