The fitness center with a provocative name seems to be cropping up (or should I say hopping up?) all over the place. We recently covered Eat the Frog Fitness’ expansion to the San Diego market, and now we can confirm the franchise will open a second AZ location. Eat the Frog Fitness will open a new fitness center in Chandler.

The name, as you’ll come to learn when you frequent the fitness center, comes from a quote often attributed to Mark Twain: “Eat a live frog first thing every morning and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day.” For founder and Olympic medalist Bryan Clay, “Your ‘frog’ is your biggest, hardest task of the day. I think of it as the one immediate task that could have the greatest positive impact on your life and for many people, that’s fitness.”

Now Eat the Frog Fitness helps the wary gym-goer tackle that morning frog. In order to do so, the fitness center provides live and virtual 24 hour access, personalized small group training, and pre and post fitness evaluations. Emphasis is on agility, strength, and cardio.

Chandler’s Eat the Frog is headed to S Alma School Road.
