It’s unclear when the new outpost will open, however, at the time of writing Eegee’s only has one Valley area location listed as “coming soon” on its website, at 2721 W Bell Rd. in Phoenix.

A representative of Eegee’s did not immediately return a request for comment.

Eegee’s has been a staple of many an Arizonan’s life for some 50 years, having begun its humble journey as a frozen lemonade truck in Tucson, a treat that would later become the brand’s iconic frozen fruit drink – the eegee.

Over the next five decades, the company has grown to a little more than 30 locations spread throughout southern Arizona and into Phoenix. The menu has likewise grown to include signature grinders, subs, chicken, salads, fries, and more, all while “[revolutionizing] the food scene in Tucson and Phoenix, capturing the hearts of millions and quenching the thirst of Tucsonans, Phoenicians, and everyone who visits the Sonoran desert,” according to its official website.
