The company’s newest corporate-owned location was announced as one of many new tenants coming to the new Verrado Marketplace, according to a press release. During the groundbreaking ceremony earlier this month, Vestar unveiled an expansive roster of more than 15 new retailers that will join the shopping center, including Salt Tacos + Tequila, Shake Shack, Hawaiian Bros., and more. Verrado Marketplace is expected to open in Spring 2026.
Many new eateries and retailers were announced for the shopping center, which already has anchor tenants Target, Harkins Theater’s newest ‘Backlot’ concept, Safeway, Ross, Marshalls, and HomeGoods. Other businesses set to come to Buckeye include ULTA Beauty, Famous Footwear, Buckle, Bath & Body Works, Handel’s Ice Cream, Nekter Juice, See’s Candies, Thai Chili, Tropical Smoothie, European Wax Center, Zara Nails, Pacific Dental, America’s Best Contacts & Glasses, and Mountain America Credit Union.
Once completed, the property will have over 50 retailers and restaurants. Additional tenant announcements will be made in the coming months. With a total investment of $275 million, Verrado Marketplace is projected to generate over $50 million in total tax revenue for the City of Buckeye and contribute an estimated $1.8 billion in economic output over the next 10 years. The development is also expected to bring more than 1,500 permanent jobs to the West Valley.
The highly anticipated entertainment and lifestyle destination will feature unique amenities to enhance the visitor experience. These include a splash pad, a live performance stage and video screen, and a half-acre central lawn surrounded by restaurants featuring outdoor fireplaces. Verrado Marketplace will also offer a “Sip & Stroll” experience, where guests over 21 can consume alcoholic beverages while enjoying designated common areas. Planned activities will include musical performances, holiday celebrations, and other community-focused events, further enhancing its role as a destination for local engagement.
