Square One Concepts announced this week that they will be bringing their Famous 48 “AZ Tavern” to the East Valley by the end of the year. The restaurant is under construction at 1026 S. Gilbert Road near Gilbert Town Square.
While the Scottsdale location is known for its fried chicken, ribs, and burgers, the upcoming Gilbert outpost will put their most popular offerings at the forefront. An elevated menu is expected to showcase steaks, prime rib, and fresh fish.
There will also be a robust cocktail program, plus a curated list of craft beers and fine wines. The intention is to create a space that makes folks comfortable enough to call Famous 48 their favorite neighborhood tavern, but also upscale enough to come here for special occasions.
