Pronto will be a fast-casual restaurant offering Sonoran-style Mexican favorites and will open under the same owners as Serrano’s. “With an array of customizations,” their website states, “you never have to order the same meal twice!”

These customizations have you starting with a protein and adding it to a burrito, taco, salad or bowl. From there, layer it up with their toppings, sides and sauces.

The idea came from the family wanting to explore a space that includes ordering at the counter instead of a traditional dine-in experience with servers.

“We’ve learned a lot over the past two years and we know that fast-casual concepts have experienced significant recent growth,” owner Ric Serrano said in the press release.

Fans of Serrano’s Mexican Food have nothing to worry about, either. Pronto will still carry the famous bean dip, and everything from the meat to the beans will be the same recipe. Now, Pronto is just adding a few new favorites and quickening up the service a little.

Although What Now Phoenix awaits official word on the opening, the website states they’re shooting for Fall 2021.
