First Watch, a company-owned chain focusing on healthy breakfast foods, is heading for another Glendale location at 9425 W Glendale Avenue #110.
The company, according to the website, makes everything from the muffins to the French toast from scratch, beginning “each morning at the crack of dawn, slicing fruits and vegetables” to prepare for the day.
They also assure they never use heat lamps or deep fryers, but only the “finest ingredients possible for the freshest taste around.”
Founded in 1983 in Pacific Grove, California, the privately held company has grown to house over 300 locations across 26 states, with more growth on the horizon.
Perhaps part of the reason for the company’s success is their “you first” mentality that’s designed around friendly, fast and accommodating service. Their aim is to make anyone’s visit memorable in the hopes to keep diners coming back for more. Each breakfast comes with a pot of Project Sunrise coffee, with the ability to order anything off the menu at any time throughout the day.
That menu includes breakfast favorites like omelets, the above-mentioned French Toast, and specialties like the Pumpkin Pancake Breakfast, Butternut Squash Bisque, and Million Dollar Bacon.
A rep for the company said they were aiming for an end of September/early October opening, but the official date was still pending.
