The company’s second location will move into a vacant space in a shopping center near a LA Fitness and Filiberto’s Mexican Food. Owner Wally Ansari tells What Now Phoenix he expects to open this new location in May 2023. This is the third Ghett Yo concept from Ansari, who opened Chandler’s Ghett Yo Taco opened in 2017 and Ghett Yo Pizza in opened in Ahwatukee in 2020. On top of tenders and wings, the chicken specialist also offers burgers, fish, shrimp, and starters/appetizers.

“When creating a new concept in a crowded Wings market, you must be different,” Ansari said last year in a press release. “And by different, we mean better. We are stepping up the quality game in order the bring the best product and experience to the Valley.”

What sets this company apart from the rest are fresh, never frozen wings that are brined/marinated for 24 hours and jumbo halal wings. Everything is cooked to order, whether grilled, breaded, or boneless. All of the company’s sauces are made from scratch. Ghett Yo Wings even hand-batters all of their fish and shrimp.

The company hosted a special grand opening event last year when it debuted in the 61-year-old Christown Spectrum Mall. To mark the occasion, Ghett Yo Wings offered 61-cent wings all day, the first 100 guests received free wings for a year, and anyone born on October 8, 1961, could receive free wings for life. There’s a chance the company will host a similar grand opening event.
