According to Crawfish Café’s website, the Houston-based eatery that opened in 2013 is in the process of outgrowing its Texas roots. Owner Kiet Duong has plans to bring his Viet-Cajun seafood spot to both Mesa and Glendale.

An exact date and address has not been announced for the Glendale location, but lease intel obtained by What Now Phoenix suggests it is likely headed to the Northwest Corner of 91st Ave and Glendale. This places the eatery squarely in the En Fuego development, which broke ground just last year. En Fuego is a 36,030 square foot retail development that’s already signed agreements with eateries like Barro’s Pizza, Myungrang Hotdogs, and Burros & Fries.

Crawfish Cafe Mesa is shooting for a January 2022 opening at 28 South Dobson Road.

It’s pretty easy to guess what Crawfish Café specializes in, and they do so by offering 10 different flavorings of the shellfish. The eatery’s website notes it was voted one of the best crawfish restaurants in Houston serving Viet-Cajun crawfish. You can also find blue crab, clams, mussels, snow crab, king and Dungeness crab, lobster, and shrimp on the menu.

Stay tuned for updates regarding the opening timeline on these restaurants, and, in the meantime, find Crawfish Café on Instagram to grab a sneak peek of the good stuff.
