Hummus Republic is coming soon to Scottsdale! According to real estate intel obtained by What Now Phoenix, the fast-casual chain is headed for 16211 N. Scottsdale Road, taking over the former Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
Representatives for Hummus Republic have confirmed that this new location is in the works but did not have an opening date to announce. But hopefully by the end of this year, customers will get to taste the flavorful Mediterranean fare that the restaurant was founded on.
The chain originated in 2013, when a group of friends got together to bring their families’ authentic Mediterranean cuisine to busy customers who were constantly on the go. They sought to offer a healthier, more flavorful option to all the fast-food options that were already on the market.
Their menu includes build-your-own wraps, pitas, and bowls. Customers are invited to select a base of couscous, greens, or garbanzo beans, that gets topped with a meat or plant-based protein, plus hummus and unlimited toppings.
