Owner Lorraine Campbell runs Island Sensation Cuisine with her husband, Chef Lloyd, who uses a proprietary blend of spices in their original recipes. In a phone call with What Now Phoenix, Campbell said that they are thinking about expanding operations with a second restaurant, but declined to give any further comment.

That said, Island Sensation Cuisine is listed on a recent permit for a commercial remodel found in city public records. Campbell hasn’t confirmed relation to these records, but if this is evidence that they are opening a second restaurant, they might soon be located at 5504 N. 7th Ave. in Uptown

The timing of this source suggests that they are still months away from an opening, which could happen as early as this spring if our suspicions are true. In any case, Island Sensation Cuisine will still be serving up their delicious Jerk Chicken, Oxtail, Curry, Rice and Peas from their current outpost on 830 E. Indian School Road.
