J.T. Prime Kitchen was established in 2018 alongside J.T. Bros, which operated during the day serving sandwiches, acai bowls, and other lunch fare. They began closing down for the evenings to transition into J.T. Prime Kitchen & Cocktails, originally a pop-up dinner series, which offered an upscale dinner and cocktail menu.

Since then, J.T. Prime Kitchen & Cocktails became a permanent fixture at the J.T. Bros restaurant in Yuma and the ensuing success now brings them to the Valley. Trujillo tells What Now Phoenix that their Scottsdale restaurant will have a similar menu but until they open, he and his team are tweaking the menu to make it especially unique.

Trujillo notes that while they await the finishing touches on their space, they are currently hiring in anticipation of their opening later this Winter. In the meantime, you can stay tuned to J.T. Prime’s website and Instagram account for any updates.
