Whitsell, who currently operates a Culver’s location on W Ocotillo Rd with wife Jinnee tells What Now Phoenix, “As residents of Queen Creek, we are excited about the potential opportunity to open a second location on Ellsworth Loop and Chandler Heights.”

Culver’s was founded in 1984 by the Culver family, who built their brand on their “small-town Wisconsin roots,” and take pride in working with other family-owned vendors such as the Whitsells, across the country.

“As Craig Culver always says,” the company writes on its official website, “‘We never compromise on quality. It’s a promise that begins with sourcing the best ingredients and continues through to the way we prepare your meal: fresh, just for you.”

Culver’s statement goes on to read, “It’s why we always use fresh, never frozen beef and whole, white meat chicken from America’s family farms. It’s why we only use family farm-fresh dairy for our Frozen Custard. And it’s why every single Cheese Curd we’ve served has come from a Wisconsin dairy farm. We care about where your food comes from because we know you do too.”

Aside from its cheese curds and frozen custard, Culver’s serves up a reliable slate of comfort food favorites such as the Beef Pot Roast Sandwich, Grilled Reuben Melt, Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and the iconic Original ButterBurger, as well as a rotating cast of featured items like the currently-available Smokehouse BBQ Cheddar Pub Burger.
