In an email exchange with What Now Phoenix, owner Matt Gorman says they hope to open in mid-September. “This location will have a full bar and will be the first full-service location!” Gorman says, adding that the new restaurant will offer Matty G’s full Steakburgers and Lobsta’ Roll menus.

Established in 2016, Matty G’s was created out of Gorman’s love of sports and the desire to take on the challenge of operating a restaurant. The sports-themed restaurant has since become known throughout the Valley for their dozens of varieties of Steakburgers and five different Lobsta’ Rolls at select locations.

The new downtown Chandler outpost will offer the best of both worlds, plus a variety of hot dogs, salads, street food and other delicious menu items. What’s more, is that this location will likely carry the torch in the space’s reputation as a local sports bar, offering your favorite beverages to enjoy a game with.
