According to the website of freelance, multi-disciplinary designer and artist, Nicole Pannuzzo, who appears to have designed the new bodega’s logo, “Buena Vida Bodega is Phoenix’s newest modern bodega store in the Garfield district, where you can find local beer, wine, and crafted goods.”

Co-owners Jacqueline Garay and JT Taber recently filed an application for a liquor license for 1002 E Pierce Street, Suite 101. The license type is for a beer and wine store and is currently active.

It appears Buena Vida will share the E Pierce St. building with Blok Photo Studio. We were unable to reach the owners at the time of publication, so you’ll want to check back in with What Now Phoenix for updates on the bodega’s opening plans.
