“We’re hoping it’ll be open within the next few weeks,” said owner Todd Belfer when he spoke to What Now Phoenix on Friday, adding that certain complications from the pandemic have elongated the opening longer than originally anticipated.

“The buildout was just a little more challenging than usual,” he said. “But we’re getting ready for the grand opening and now things are going well.”

This will be the first Phoenix location for the restaurant, who has one shop at 4233 N. Scottsdale Road in Scottsdale and another at 690 S. Mill Avenue #110 in Tempe.

Diners with furry friends should always come here to enjoy the dog-friendly patios. The company loves dogs so much, they even handed out free dog treats on National Dog Day.

The menu serves brunch favorites like omelettes, Benedicts, and waffles. They also have a “Yolking Delicious” section that includes tacos, burritos, and steak frites.

According to the website, Morning Squeeze has offered “the Valley’s yummiest breakfasts, brunches, and lunches with fresh, local ingredients” since 2013. They promise a “groovy vibe” and “exceptional service” at their “hip locations.”

They also offer catering options, and we, for one, can always find an excuse to make room for a breakfast burrito.
