“We are super, super excited to bring this concept here to Arizona, and I think it will be a really good fit because it’s so hot here, and no one else really does it like this,” Liu tells What Now Phoenix

Coconut Jelly King is already working to establish itself on both coasts, having been founded in Los Angeles – where the company currently operates some five locations – and opening outposts in Boston and New York, with Las Vegas and Texas on the way.

Coconut jelly is the latest in a wave of Asian-inspired sweet treats that have taken the US by storm, from mochi donuts to boba tea and beyond.

What’s more, the brand boasts numerous health benefits from its menu including preventing dehydration, meeting nutritional requirements, providing antioxidants, offering good fats, aiding weight loss, and improving skin health.

Similar to an acai concept or many of the other health-forward snack options entering the fray, Coconut Jelly King serves up a coconut jelly base with various toppings such as taro, pineapple, peach gum, hazelnut chocolate, blueberry, and more. Meanwhile, the restaurant also serves egg waffles, coconut milk, and boba teas.

“Every flavor we actually use fresh fruit,” says Liu. “So with the mango flavor of the coconut jelly, you’ll get a fresh mango on the top. So everything’s fresh!”
