Noble Bread, which bills itself as “a small scale artisan bakery featuring old world techniques,” has been around since 2012 on N 24th Street in Biltmore. And now the bakery and eatery is opening its second location, at 2555 East McDowell Road in Campbell Place.

Known for its commitment to organic, GMO-free breads made with whole and ancient grains, Noble Bread relies on traditional bread-making techniques to make their loaves (one loaf takes a whole 36 hours to make!), which are baked in a stone hearth.

The bakery’s current location also offers counter-service sandwiches, salads, pizza, and a few “take and bake” pastas for carry-out, so it’s safe to assume the new spot will do the same when it opens, though Owner Jason Raducha declined to comment as to when, exactly, the bakery will open its second set of doors.
