Chief Operating Officer Mario Cernadas confirmed with What Now Phoenix via email that Ojos Locos Sports Cantina is indeed planning their fourth Arizona location. “We hope to be there around May or June,” Cernadas writes. “It is still a moving date due to permitting and licensing.”

Ojos Locos Sports Cantina already has locations in north Phoenix, Mesa, and Tucson. They are known as a Mexican-themed sports bar and restaurant, where the waitresses are part of the ambiance, donning short skirts and midriff-baring tops.

Aside from that, their menu is a blend of Mexican and Southwestern American fare, specializing in tacos. They are also known for their “balones,” which are tall pitchers that can hold 100 U.S. fluid ounces of ice cold, 29-degree beer.

The chain originated in Dallas, Texas in 2010, co-founded by Randy DeWitt, who also previously founded sister restaurant Twin Peaks. Ojos Locos Sports Cantina currently boasts 12 locations across Texas and the southwest. Evidently, that number continues to grow. For more information, visit ojoslocos.com.
