On the heels of Paris Baguette’s Arizona debut inside Mesa’s H-Mart, plans for the chain’s expansion throughout greater Phoenix were teased earlier this summer. Now, one of the new locations will be at the Scottsdale Promenade, according to a lease signed just last month.
Paris Baguette is known for their fresh-baked pastries, breads, cakes, and expertly brewed drinks. The format of the shop is such that customers grab a tray and a set of tongs upon entry and select from a wide variety of baked goods in glossy display cases throughout the store.
From croissants with fresh fruits to breads with hot dogs baked inside, there is something sure to delight any taste. Behind the counter, there are fresh salads and sandwiches, as well as gourmet cakes, cake slices, and other specialty desserts. They also serve a full beverage menu of coffee drinks and teas.
According to a previous report, Paris Baguette’s Arizona expansion was carefully thought out. “We want that high-end spot, we want all eyes on us, with outdoor seating. It’s got to be at least 3,000 square feet, because we’re baking in the back of the house and that takes up a lot of space,” says chief development officer Mark Mele.
Indeed, it looks like they’ve found the perfect spot on at 16495 N. Scottsdale Road. They will be taking up Suite 5A1, a 4,007 square-foot space that will undergo a full-buildout. Based on the timing of the lease start date, this new Paris Baguette location likely won’t be open until Spring 2022.
