To celebrate National Noodle Month and the opening of its second location, Ramen Hood, an upscale fast-casual build-your-own ramen restaurant, will host an event and ribbon cutting at its new Chandler location at 1940 W. Chandler Blvd on March 29, 2023, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Twenty percent of all proceeds that day will go to the Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children. The celebration will also feature a ribbon cutting with the Chandler Chamber of Commerce from 4-5 p.m. followed by a ramen-eating contest at 5:30 p.m. Participants will have 60 seconds to eat as much ramen as possible, with the fastest contestant winning free ramen every month for a year (see Facebook for official rules). Those interested in participating can contact the Chandler location via social media. In addition, the first 25 customers to attend the celebration will receive a $10 gift card.

“We’re excited to officially celebrate our second location in Chandler, and what better time than during National Noodle Month,” said Ramen Hood founder and CEO James Xie in a statement. “You don’t have to be an experienced traveler to enjoy real ramen – we use a combination of traditional and contemporary methods while using fresh, quality ingredients, just like ramen shops in Japan. Best of all, you can create your own signature bowl with as many ingredients as you want.”

When mentioning National Noodle Month, Ramen Hood customers can enjoy 10% off their order at both locations through the end of March.
