Santé is opening at 15507 N. Scottsdale Road, according to an open job listing for all positions posted to Craigslist. They will presumably be taking over the space previously home to Brunch Cafe, which Google notes as permanently closed. General Manager Adam Formichella confirms that Santé is in the heat of preparations for their opening on December 14th.
While their restaurant will be open for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch, Santé will also have a marketplace and café showcasing their coffee and tea program, while also serving healthy grab-and-go meals and snacks, in addition to supplements and retail items.
Santé is a beyond organic restaurant and marketplace that aims to provide an elevated, biophilic dining experience. As a “green” restaurant, their focus is to enact several actionable initiatives from composting food waste to organic sourcing. Ethically and sustainably sourcing their foods, they partner with regenerative small farms who humanely raise livestock, such as Joyce Farms.
On top of consciously making an environmental impact with their ingredients, Santé aims to make a social impact through their menu. Their culinary team has developed inclusive recipes to suit any diner, so that everyone – regardless of their dietary needs – can easily enjoy a meal together.
Santé is brought to us by Nico Doniele and Nick Neuman, friends and veterans of the Phoenix restaurant scene. With their combined experience, they wanted to create a place that not only offered healthy food options but transparency around its sources for the consumer. They created Santé with the belief that we should “eat to live and live longer to eat.”
