The company’s fourth Arizona location is set to replace Roll-Em-Up Taquitos on the southeast corner of Arizona Avenue and Frye Road. Company founder Bryce Rademan tells What Now Phoenix that this location will be owned by franchise owners Danny Lambourne and Kyle Tarter, who also own the Spitz location in Tempe at Arizona State University. The company hopes to open this new location in early September 2024, offering a healthy modern take on Mediterranean, Greek, and American favorites.

This is an exciting development for Spitz Mediterranean Street Food, which made its Arizona debut at Desert Ridge Marketplace in May 2023, followed by the ASU location. A third Arizona location was announced earlier this year to be coming to GSQ in downtown Goodyear, off McDowell Road and 150th Drive, which is expected to open in late August/ early September under franchisee Jaskarn Singh. When the new Chandler location opens next month, customers can expect various delicious options, such as wraps, healthy salads & bowls, zesty gyros, falafel, award-winning fries, and more.

“Spitz, now a foodie favorite, started as a simple concept,” according to the company’s website. “Two college kids from Minnesota and Utah who wanted to bring a healthier, modern take on the Mediterranean food ubiquitous in the streets of Europe to cities across America. Named after the classic vertical method for broiling proteins that ensures a flavorful, rich taste, Spitz has grown to be more than just award-winning food, great drinks, local craft beer, and vibrant street art – we’re now a part of the community.”
