The sprawling shopping center, which was sold for $41 million earlier this year, is set to get a complete lifestyle overhaul including a new hotel.

International coffee giant, Starbucks, is poised to become a new tenant in Goodyear’s Canyon Trails Towne Center development, located at the northeast corner of S Cotton Ln and W Yuma Rd, according to the city’s economic development website.

Canyon Trails Towne Center was sold for a whopping $41 million dollars in September of this year to Santa Cruz Seaside Company, a developer which plans on overhauling the area and turning it into a veritable lifestyle hub, complete with a “specialty grocer, large format retailers, more restaurants, and a hotel in the future,” according to an article published in AZ Family on Sep 21, 2022.

A representative of Starbucks could not be reached for comment.
