The North Mesa Plaza on E University Drive will soon be home to a new restaurant. Alissa Thompson, Dale Collins, and Jason Bowen filed articles of organization for an LLC on May 11th and signed a lease for a property at 2662 E University Dr, Suite 102.
Starz American Bar and Grill will operate out of the 5,370 square-foot retail space on the first floor in the plaza, which is located on the busy intersection of Lindsay and University Drive. According to North Mesa Plaza site plans, the space is set up for a sports bar-style restaurant with a patio in the front.
Starz American Bar and Grill will take over the lease in September 2021. The owners were unavailable for comment at the time of publication, so you’ll want to keep your eyes peeled for developments in the plaza, or check back in with What Now Phoenix for the buzz.
