His restaurant, Sushi Crush, will open in June or July at 6501 E Greenway Parkway, in the Kierland Village Center, close to the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa.

Sushi Crush will join a short list of sushi restaurants in the area, including Japanese steakhouse Kasai Scottsdale, and OBON Sushi Bar Ramen. “We’ll be an authentic, casual sushi restaurant,” Ham said, “with beer, sake, and endless sushi rolls.” He also plans to serve up some Korean dishes, like beef bulgogi and bibimbap.

The space,at nearly 3,000 square feet, will feature a 1000-square-foot kitchen, indoor seating, and a patio for outdoor seating. Head there this summer for your spicy tuna fix.
