If you’re feeling a little driftless this summer, you might consider finding yourself in good company at Wandering Donkey.
What is this eatery with the striking name, you ask? Beth and Lance Smith are bringing taqueria and tequila bar to Scottsdale. The eatery will be located at 10121 E Bell Road, Suite #150 in the Bashas Center and serve up “fresh Mexican food made the way you want it!” Wandering Donkey’s menu will be customizable and, of course, offer a substantial drinks list.
Wandering Donkey currently exists as a catering company and rentable food truck.The eatery also appears to have operated seasonally in front of Munds Park RV Resort, although that location has permanently closed according to social media.
As recently as June 22, Wandering Donkey shared on its new Facebook page, “Coming Soon! July 2021! It’s finally here and we can’t wait to showcase the new Wandering Donkey Taqueria & Tequila Bar!”
