Tee Box Indoor Golf Club is a go in Cave Creek! A proposal for the forthcoming recreation and entertainment venue was unanimously approved by the Cave Creek Town Council back in March, but since then plans have changed as to where it will be located.
Owner Jim Bucklin confirmed with What Now Phoenix this week that Tee Box Indoor Golf Club will be taking over an established 11,000-square foot restaurant and retail space at 7100 E. Cave Creek Road in Stagecoach Village. This will make for an easier buildout and renovation in anticipation of an early 2023 opening, versus building the facility from the ground up as initially planned.
Tee Box Indoor Golf Club will feature a full commercial kitchen and bar, as well as an outdoor patio. The main event of the space will be the 11 indoor bays outfitted with world-class simulator technology by TrackMan, whose U.S. headquarters are located in Scottsdale.
At Tee Box, you’ll be able to virtually play more than 100 of the world’s best golf courses without ever setting foot outside the Valley. From ultra-high-definition graphics and actionable data that will help you improve your golf swing, it’s a high-end experience that will be the first of its kind in Cave Creek.
The interior of the space will evoke that of a vacation mountain lodge with the help of Deutsch Architecture Group. Bucklin anticipates that Tee Box will be a “staycation” destination for locals year-round, offering a cool refuge from blistering desert summers and a fun hangout in the winter for when those daylight hours are shortened.
