The Taco Spot has made a name for itself in Chandler as a go-to for birria (shredded beef) tacos, burritos, and tortas. Their corn tortillas are made-to-order, and according to more than one Yelper, their birria ramen is worth the wait and the tight quarters.

It’s clear The Taco Spot, in all its saucy and cilantro-scented glory, is in need of more space, and soon they’ll be getting it. According to their website, their new location in Tempe, at 325 W Elliot Rd, is “coming soon,” though we don’t have an exact date. The space is in a small plaza that’s also home to Knuckle Sandwiches, a nail salon, and a physical therapy clinic. We don’t know how much bigger the new space will be, if at all, but at least the taco joint’s loyalists will soon have two Spots to choose from.

There’s no liquor at the OG spot, and it’s safe to assume there won’t be any at this one either, but they do make a good cinnamon-sweet horchata.
