A new restaurant called Then Burger recently applied for a liquor license with the state of Arizona. Located at 9220 W. Glendale Ave., Then Burger will be joining the En Fuego shopping center in Glendale’s Westgate neighborhood off Loop 101.
In their own words, “Then Burger is a people-centric speakeasy with craft burgers and high-end cocktails.” In a phone call with What Now Phoenix, owner Kyle Preston adds that Then Burger is currently in its buildout phase and should be ready to open by early fall at the latest.
Preston owns and operates Preston Restaurant Group, which recently unveiled Twist Hot Chicken in Peoria on Feb. 19. Based on the laudable debut that Twist has been experiencing these past few weeks, we suspect that Then Burger will be just as successful.
If the delectable sandwiches sold at Twist are any indication, the craft burgers at Then Burger are sure to be equally satisfying. That said, Preston let us know that they are still in the early stages of development, so he couldn’t give away too many details at this time.
