Two Hands Corn Dogs has Goodyear listed as one of their “Coming Soon” locations on their website and according to recent real estate intel, they will be at 1020 N. Estrella Parkway. As new neighbors to the Estrella Marketplace anchored by the Walmart Supercenter, this new location is sure to see plenty of foot traffic when they finally open.
As for when that might be, timing of this tip suggests that Two Hands in Goodyear will be ready as early as the first quarter of 2022. This is the third confirmed location throughout Phoenix for the fast-growing Korean corn dog chain. There are already shops in Mesa and Avondale, which are separately owned by different franchisees.
The owner for this Goodyear location could not yet be reached for comment. Known officially as Two Hands Seoul Fresh Corn Dogs, the chain specializes in Korean-style corn dogs which are thicker and fluffier than what you’d see at your average American state fair.
While traditional American corn dogs use a cornmeal-based batter, Korean corn dogs use a batter made with glutinous rice flour which gives the dog a soft, chewy exterior almost similar to mochi. The two most popular flavors at Two Hands are the Spicy Dog, coated with Hot Cheeto powder, and the Potato Dog, which has potatoes mixed into the batter.
While you can opt for a traditional 100-percent beef sausage for your filling, you could also have a dog filled with mozzarella cheese or a combination of cheese and sausage. Two Hands also serves slushes, fries, elote, and classic American corn dogs in addition to its six varieties of Korean-style corn dogs.
