Vitality Bowls specializes in açai bowls topped with granola and other superfood ingredients. They use a thick açai berry blend that contains no ingredient fillers such as ice, frozen yogurt, or added preservatives, which means you get the purest-tasting açai bowl on the market.

The same goes for all the superfood-packed items on their menu, which also includes smoothies, fresh juices, soups, salads, and paninis. Rich with antioxidants, all their menu items are made to order in a kitchen designed to avoid cross contamination of food allergens.

In 2011, the first Vitality Bowls opened in San Ramon, California. Roy and Tara Gilad founded the restaurant out of a need for healthy, safe food alternatives after discovering their daughter’s severe food allergies.

The business became a hit, so the Gilads decided to begin franchising Vitality Bowls in 2014 with a mission to instill health-minded values in communities across the nation. The franchise owners of the Gilbert location were unavailable for comment at the time of publication.

When Vitality Bowls is finally built, it will join the likes of FROSTAiLS and Crust Simply Italian. Gilbert’s Verde at Cooley Station is a long-awaited mixed-use development at the corner of Recker and Williams Field Roads, where construction has only recently begun.
