Assistant Vice President of Real Estate and Development Mike Abbate told What Now Phoenix, “We do plan to open a new restaurant in Peoria sometime in the near future. We’re currently in the plan check process and hope to start construction shortly. It’s still too early to say when we’ll be able to open a restaurant there, however, once we start construction, it normally takes about 8-9 months for completion. We’re excited about the prospect of opening a second location in Peoria, and we appreciate our Customers who have shared their anticipation with us, as well.”

The legendary fast-food chain has become synonymous with their famous double-double, with its double patties and double cheese. Cheeseburgers, hamburgers, french fries, and shakes are also part of their main offerings. They also have a “not-so-secret” secret menu that gives customers more customization options, from the Protein Style (lettuce-wrapped burgers) to the Animal Style (with extra special sauce, grilled onions, and more).

First started in 1948, Harry Snyder introduced California’s very first drive-thru hamburger stand, located in a space barely 10-square-feet at the intersection of Francisquito and Garvey in Baldwin Park. This humble beginning marked the birth of an institution that would change the fast-food landscape forever. Harry Snyder would make his way to the meat and produce markets. There, he meticulously handpicked the freshest ingredients for the day’s service. This commitment to using the finest, hand-prepared components set In-N-Out apart from the competition and laid the foundation for its enduring success. Harry’s dedication to quality was matched by his wife, Esther, who diligently managed all the accounting for the fledgling restaurant. Their home, conveniently located just around the corner, served as the nerve center for the early operations. This family-oriented approach created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that became a hallmark of In-N-Out.

The commitment to quality, freshness, and a family-centric approach has helped the chain grow from that tiny 10-square-foot drive-thru to a beloved culinary institution with a dedicated fan base that spans the nation.

There will also be a Raising Cane’s and Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream in the shopping complex.
