Que Sazon is coming soon to downtown Phoenix. The new restaurant has applied for a liquor license at 622 E. Adams St., where it will likely be taking over the former Nobuo at Teeter House space by the Historic Heritage Square.

Que Sazon started out as a South American food truck by chef Fabian Ocampo, whose specialties included empanadas and sweet plantains. Business partner Julie Ocampo confirmed with What Now Phoenix that the plan was to open by November at the latest.
“Our menu is in the works but there will be some items similar to those on the food truck. In addition, we plan to include a ceviche bar,” Julie says, adding that the restaurant will have a “Cuban/Miami flare.”
