As a cherished restaurant in the Phoenix area since 1986, Someburros is unique to Arizona and offers a food and beverage experience that reflects the Sonoran culture, flavors, and traditions. Remaining locally owned and family operated, Someburros has evolved into 16 Arizona restaurant locations.

“Someburros is more than just a restaurant; it’s a home away from home, where people come together to share family meals, celebrate milestones, and create lasting memories. San Tan Valley’s commitment to its residents is exceptional and we can’t wait to share my family’s well-loved recipes with the community,” said Tim Vasquez, President and Owner of Someburros in a statement. “At Someburros, we are very proud of our delicious food and friendly service, all while supporting the local schools, businesses, and our neighbors.”

Someburros San Tan Valley will feature the same commitment to exceptional taste, fresh ingredients and an outstanding guest experience that has made Someburros a favorite among Arizonans for nearly four decades. With a focus on authentic recipes derived from Sonora, Mexico, Someburros will highlight the Vasquez Family’s traditional dishes created by the family’s matriarch, Nana Isabel. The Someburros drive-thru will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday for to-go orders, and daily dine-in hours will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Guests can enjoy a variety of made-to-order breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, to please any palate. Their signature favorites include crispy and soft tacos, tostadas, enchiladas, quesadillas, and of course their famous burros. Their beloved namesake burros (or burrito) options range from authentic red and green chili beef, to pollo asado, machaca beef, carne asada, and specialty burros like their “Most Loved” dish, the Pollo Fundido. To complete a Someburros meal, their refreshing and convenient frozen margaritas will be available for both dine-in and to-go.

The grand opening celebration will take place on Saturday, June 15, 2024 with special fiesta festivities kicking off at 9 a.m. Fun for all ages, families and guests of Someburros San Tan Valley can dine-in and enjoy live mariachi music, enter-to-win raffle contests and an appearance by Someburros’ burro mascot, “Nacho.”

Next up in the Someburros expansion is a West Valley location in Buckeye which is planned for the beginning of 2025.
