The Phoenix-based restaurant group recently started offering burgers out of Angie’s Prime Grill, creating the company’s first dual-concept location. Angie’s Burgers offers low-cost, high-quality burgers made with Prime steak trimmings. An average combo meal with a burger, fries, and a drink will cost between $7.99 and $11.99, depending on the burger size, either 8 oz or 4 oz, and additional toppings, such as bacon or egg. This could potentially be the first of many locations of Angie’s Burgers.

While the company hasn’t officially announced plans for additional locations, the ease of adding the concept to a pre-existing location of Angie’s Prime Grill makes it very likely the restaurant group will eventually expand the brand. Earlier this year, Angie’s Food Concepts partnered with Ideation Design Group to create its newest units. At the time, a representative for the design group told Nation’s Restaurant News that four Angie’s Lobsters are under construction across metro Phoenix, while an additional Eight Angie’s Prime locations are expected in that area as well.

Whether or not Angie’s Burgers is added to any pre-existing or upcoming locations, these expansion plans are impressive for the company. Angie’s Food Concepts was launched by Tony and Roushan Christofellis, who founded Salad and Go in 2013 before selling the 130-unit company. The restaurant group opened the first concept, Angie’s Lobster, in 2021, followed by Angie’s Prime Grill in 2023. The company has officially opened its third concept in three years, with many more on the way.

“It wasn’t long after opening Angie’s Prime Grill that we stumbled upon an opportunity,” according to the company’s website. “While trimming our USDA Prime steak in-house, we couldn’t help but think twice about all those prime steak trimmings going to waste. Those trimmings were exactly what was needed to create the ultimate Prime Steakhouse Burger. From Angie’s Prime Grill, we set off working on our newest endeavor and concept — Angie’s Burger.”
