Salt Lake-based chain to celebrate opening with free food for local students, swag giveaways and ribbon cutting

Café Zupas announced that this Thursday, October 12th , the Salt Lake City-based restaurant chain will open its first Buckeye location, located at 1665 N. Verrado Way.

Café Zupas will be holding a grand opening to celebrate the new location! The festivities will kick off at 10:30 AM with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Immediately following, doors to the restaurant will open, and the first 100 customers will receive a custom Café Zupas Stanley water bottle!

To keep the festivities going all day, any middle or high school student that visits Buckeye’s new Café Zupas on October 12th will eat for free! Students must show a valid student ID and scan the Café Zupas Loyalty App, and they will receive one Try 2 Combo on the house.

Next week’s opening will officially kick off Café Zupas’ upcoming growth in Phoenix – with three openings in the greater Phoenix area taking place before the end of 2023. Following the opening in Buckeye, Café Zupas will open a new location in North Phoenix (Metro Center), and a third in Queen Creek. These openings will bring Café Zupas to 11 total locations in the greater Phoenix area, with plans to open at least five more locations over the next two years.

Café Zupas in Buckeye is designed to serve more customers, faster, with two drive thru lanes – one for orders placed in person, and one for orders placed ahead using the brand new Café Zupas Loyalty App. Café Zupas in Buckeye will also have a dining room, for guests interested in dining in. The new location will be open Monday-Thursday from 11:00 AM-9:00 PM, and from 11:00 AM-10:00 PM on Friday and Saturday.
