The new 11,800-square-foot restaurant will be found in the south wing of the mall that is anchored by Nordstrom, which is undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation, according to Phoenix Business Journal. Catch Hospitality Group, which was founded by Houston Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta, Mark Birnbaum, and Eugene Remm, has opened the concept throughout the country, including in New York City, Los Angeles, Aspen, and Las Vegas. The new Scottsdale Catch will open sometime in 2025.

The owners are bringing in the Rockwell Group, which has worked on four previous Catch locations, to design the Scottsdale restaurant. The group plans to recreate the lively and vibrant atmosphere in the new locations and will “combine sleek design motifs with brilliant modernist architecture for an inviting and animated experience,” according to a company press release. Catch Hospitality Group is also planning to open new locations in Miami and Dallas, with the Florida location expected to open later this year and the Texas site opening next year.

“The opening of Catch in Scottsdale marks an exciting milestone for both the brand and the area, solidifying their positions as trendsetters in the realms of hospitality and elevated dining,” Birnbaum tells the Business Journal. “By combining the elegance and sophistication of our upscale eatery with the lively atmosphere of Scottsdale Fashion Square, we are creating a truly unique destination.”
