The company was recently announced at the beginning of the month as one of three new tenants coming to the forthcoming Fry’s Marketplace plaza located at the northwest corner of Power Rd and Elliot Rd in Morrison Ranch, according to Gilbert Now. Other tenants included in the announcement are Black Rock Coffee Bar and Slim Chickens. A representative from Freddy’s tells What Now Phoenix that the new location will be owned and operated by John Lohnes of JayToo Enterprises.

The location is currently in the early stages of development, and the company has a target opening date of December 2024, according to the representative. When it opens, it will sit in what is being called the Morrison Ranch Commercial Center, with Fry’s Foods anchoring the shopping center. All tenants are expected to open in late 2024. Real estate firm Barclay Group, located in Phoenix and Tampa, is spearheading the construction, with the land jointly owned by Fred Meyer Stores Inc., a Kroger Co.

When the new Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opens towards the end of the year, customers can expect fresh, made-to-order, craveable food, such as the namesake steakburgers, which are pressed thin to create deliciously crispy edges. For dessert, the restaurant offers a variety of frozen custard treats. Recently, the company released a limited-time-only Salted Caramel Concrete made with freshly churned vanilla frozen custard blended with chopped Twix, crushed pretzels, and caramel sauce.
