Gen Korean BBQ is under construction at Chandler Ranch, where it is part of the shopping plaza’s redevelopment that will see new Asian businesses such as Daiso, Ramen Hood, and SomiSomi.
Gen is one of the hottest Korean BBQ chains on the market, having exploded throughout California and into Nevada, Texas, Hawaii, and the Philippines. When it comes to all-you-can-eat KBBQ, the general consensus among many is that Gen does it best with fresh meats, seafood, veggies, and a great selection of ban-chan side dishes that fuse traditional Korean flavors with cultures around the world.
Gen Korean BBQ falls under Octopus Restaurant Group, which was founded by owner Jae Chang. Chang launched the first Gen Korean BBQ in 2011 and from there it quickly became known for its accessible, yet high-end ambiance on top of its decent menu.
