Remember when we reported that Gravity Coffee had plans to bring their buzzy beverages to the Grand Canyon State? At the time, no opening dates or even addresses were confirmed, but now it seems that the Washington-based chain is making progress on their expansion.
The city of Mesa is reviewing design plans for a Gravity location at 3000 E. McKellips Road. In a public record obtained by What Now Phoenix, the design review describes the project as entailing a “ground up building for a beverage service drive thru facility,” adding that there won’t be any seating indoors or outside.
The construction is proposed at a site on the south side of McKellips, between Lindsay and Val Vista roads. Representatives for Gravity could not be reached for comment regarding this possible new location. That said, this would just be one of a number of Gravity locations landing soon in Arizona. Hopefully by 2023, we will be seeing the chain all over the Valley, from Gilbert to Surprise.
