What Now Phoenix previously reported on the company making its area debut, starting with the first site coming to 717 E. Glendale Avenue in February 2024. After that, Better Buzz will expand with new locations in the Valley, including in Surprise as part of the upcoming Elm Street development, Queen Creek at The Vineyard Towne Center, and in Gilbert, coming to The Gilmore. The company isn’t stopping there, with new stores in the works for Tempe and Scottsdale, according to AZ Central.

The small-batch coffee roaster was founded in 2002 in San Diego’s Hillcrest neighborhood and has since expanded to more than 20 locations throughout Southern California. Next month, when Better Buzz enters the new markets, residents of Arizona will understand why the fast-growing coffee brand is expanding so quickly. On top of several delicious food, coffee, and tea options, the cafe is home to the ‘Best Drink Ever,’ which is often considered the company’s highlight menu item.

“Better Buzz Coffee Company is committed to providing consistent quality coffee beverages in a fun atmosphere, with efficient and friendly customer service,” according to the company’s website.” We are dedicated to the freshest possible coffee by roasting and delivering coffee weekly to our stores and customers. Better Buzz Coffe is certified by CCOF as an Organic Coffee Roaster and strives to source Fair Trade and Rainforest Alliance coffees. We hope you share our passion for coffee and join us for a cup.”
