I Heart Mac & Cheese is joining the forthcoming business’ opening soon in Thunderbird Plaza, according to a press release from Avison Young.
The writeup shared, “Built in 2002 and situated on approximately ten acres, Thunderbird Plaza went from 50% vacant when Basha’s vacated in 2022 to 100% occupied with the signing of Slick City, Pickle Guild (20,000 sf) which will open late 2023 or early 2024, and I Heart Mac N Cheese (1,500 sf) and Jet’s Pizza (1,800 sf) that will both open early next year. Other tenants at the center include UPS, Alera Care, and PNC Bank.”
Originally founded in sunny Boca Raton, Florida, in 2015, I Heart Mac & Cheese was the brainchild of Bruce Newman and his co-partner, who were brought together by a shared love for their ideal comfort food: mac and cheese.
According to their website, “I Heart Mac & Cheese is a rapidly expanding fast-casual concept specializing in customizable, made-to-order macaroni and cheese bowls with a variety of health-conscious bases including quinoa, broccoli, cauliflower, gluten-free pasta, grilled cheese sandwiches. With vegan cheese sauce and plant-based proteins, I Heart Mac & Cheese continues to evolve to meet the needs of our guests. In 2017, the company launched its franchising program nationwide which has been well received by the markets.”
At the moment, it’s been claimed that they are opening early next year.
