5th Street Burgers currently operates one popular store in Tempe and will open a new location in 4-6 weeks at 2235 S Power Rd in Mesa, according to a signage permit and confirmed by co-owner Pasha Khosravani in an email to What Now Phoenix. What’s more, Khosravani and business partner Sean Silverman plan on opening another location this fall.

It isn’t often you find a business success story that came out of the pandemic, but that’s exactly how residential real estate agent Pasha Khosravani and Silverman, a former client, launched their burger-filled dream. They started by sharing a kitchen with other restaurant start-ups and delivering their mouth-watering burgers with loaded fries to the community. Their new loyal customer base followed them to their first solo location in Tempe, with enough success to open this new location in Mesa within the next six weeks.

The Mesa community can look forward to some of 5th Street Burger’s highlights including their Flaming devil burger (cheese sauce and Flaming Cheetos on a brioche bun), the Tempe burger (pepper jack cheese, green chili, thick bacon, avocado, and Bang bang aioli), delicious Hawaiian chicken sandwich with teriyaki sauce and pineapple, plus loaded fries that run the gamut from sweet maple flavors to savory dipped chicken.

Although Khosravani told What Now Phoenix they don’t yet have a projected date for opening, they’re excited for what this next step could bring. “We’re hoping with the addition of the second store it will increase our brand awareness amongst the valley,” Khosravani said in an email. He looks forward to helping the community by hiring local vendors and creating new jobs for not just this location but also “several more locations to come…We are eyeing South Chandler and Gilbert for our third location this fall.”
