The Opa Greek Life Cafe on 9404 W Westgate Blvd is expanding into another unit next door on 9380.
When What Now Phoenix reached out to the owner, Adam Kariotoglou, he confirmed, “We’re adding on about 1,500 square feet of space. We’re going to remove the wall and add a couple of bathrooms. We’re also going to add in a bar so we can be full service.”
The build out, he hopes, has a completion date of October 2021.
Fans of this particular restaurant already know about its epic Mediterranean flavors. According to the website, that’s because “an age has passed since Zeus passed the great recipes to his children — and OPA Life Greek Cafe is here today to share the unique results.”
Those results come in “a wellspring of our culture’s cuisine, including smooth and pure olive oil, fragrant herbs, the freshest local ingredients, and hearty servings come together in every meal.”
In other words, this is the place to go for a sliced gyro burger. Or pork souvlaki. Hey, maybe keftethes are your thing, or you just want a really solid spanokopita. Whatever your flavor, you can find it here, and the expansion is only going to elevate Opa Greek Life Cafe to the next level.
This particular restaurant, which is one of four locations, will remain open during the construction.
