“Here at Rice Boss, we don’t take any shortcuts when it comes to your food or service. In doing so, we’re able to offer our customers high-quality Filipino food that’s on-the-go at reasonable prices.” said Jun Hofer, owner of Rice Boss in a statement.

Not only does the food truck want to represent their Filipino food and culture, but want to share it with others as well. Filipino food has many influences, mainly from Spain, China, India and Polynesia. Bringing family and friends together is what motivates Filipinos to “cook with love.” Rice Boss will expose tastebuds of a typical Filipino meal, which is composed of rice, vegetables, meat, seafood and dairy.

“Food trucks are a fun and unique way for people to experience the taste from other cultures, without feeling the pressure of entering an unfamiliar restaurant and be overwhelmed with the menu. While in this type of setting, you’re able to try smaller portions of the best dishes they offer. If you like their food, you’ll want to follow them to their next event!” said Olivia S. Baylen, longtime supporter and friend.

In addition to appearing at these popular food truck events, Rice Boss also provides private catering for events and parties. These special bookings will deliver the experience of gourmet Filipino cuisine right to consumers front doors and backyards.

Patrons can catch them next at the Gilbert Feastival on July 29, 2022, from 5:30pm to 9:00pm in Gilbert.
