It’s not hard to find a Salad and Go near you in Phoenix. With 12 locations in Phoenix proper and dozens more dispersed throughout the Valley, it’s clear that the healthy food chain is a hit. Salad and Go already has two confirmed locations in Goodyear and Peoria coming later this year and it’s possible that they might already have their sights set on a 13th Phoenix outpost.
A building permit found in city public records indicates that Salad and Go has plans to take over 2301 N. 44th St. by the Costco off 44th and Oak Streets. The permit notes construction of a brand new 923 square-foot building with a 253 square-foot attached drive-thru canopy.
Indeed, the chain is known for its drive-thru service, in which customers can conveniently pick up made-to-order salads and wraps on the go. This will be perfect when you’re craving for something light but satisfying after a busy Costco run, or to grab something for a picnic at nearby Pierce Park.
Based on the timing of our source, it’s likely that this new location won’t open until late this year, if not early 2023, if it is confirmed. Representatives for Salad and Go have not responded to requests for comment.
